is it me or does 'man on the silver mountain' sound 100x better on 'Rainbow - On Stage' than on the studio album?! Studio version sounds a bit amemic, i mean its good, but not great like the live version.
I think the production on the first album is a bit wishy-washy - the live version's a little faster and more aggressive. Having Cozy bloody Powell on drums doesn't do any harm either!

I still have my old denim jacket with the
