Very different pickups actually. The CS is neck DC8.3K Alnico V and the MM neck DC17.5K Alnico V so vastly different power outputs too.The MM is far smoother with masses of sustain(great clean tone too, extremely fat) whereas the CS is fluid but really articulate.

17.5k alnico V? sounds marvellous! i should order one to complete the miracle man set in my steinberger which could have better sustain.

you wouldn't use the meat knife on crusty bread but, equally, the serrated knife and straight edge knife aren't going to go through raw meat as quickly

Definitely! They own so hard, and the neck never seems to get the credit it deserves ; beautiful  :D

wow the man is back  :D

well i had them both in the same guitar (a lawsuit les paul)

the miracle man neck is a lot more powerful and smooth
i'd like it better if it had a bit less mids and more treble
for pairing really high output bridge pickups, i'd pick the miracle man
it works fine in the bridge too, especially if you want to darken a bright guitar (something like a dimarzio tone zone)

the cold sweat neck is better IMO
sounds like a modern PAF with more output and sounds a lot more articulated e clearer than the MM neck
the clean is more detailed too
