Power Problem
« on: January 28, 2008, 09:09:06 PM »
Ok so i just bought a BBE sonic maximiser 482i off ebay really cheaply. the only problem is that it is 110v (usa) and hard wired with a us 2 pin plug. the seller provides a power converter so it will work if i plug it in to a uk mains socket for sure;

it's just that i'd like to power it from my power distribution unit which is at the normal uk 230v.

any ideas on what connections i'd need and even if i could change the unit to uk voltage?

thanks in advance,

chris

I think you'd have to get the transformer changed unless it has writing on the back telling you the voltage range. I'd live with the converter.
