Just spoken to Coda as I too was concerned that the original owner maybe got robbed. Seems they bought it in on a part ex. It also has a Hiscox case worth £75.

Still sounds way too cheap to me , but I haven't heard from the owner since the sale so maybe they had a change of heart over it
Actually thinking about it - it sold 2 days after last years LGS to a nice guy who had just taken retirement and wanted to treat himself.

Specs are swamp ash body , maple neck with rosewood board.Dunlop 6155 frets (like on a PRS)
Sperzel machineheads, Earvana nut. All access neck joint, and strat like body contours - was inspired by Jeff Beck's tele
Pickups are Seymour Duncan Alnico 2 pro tele set
Think it had a 4 way switch, and the has the electrosocket tele jack (the one that doesn't fall out)

It is a great little guitar..............

thanks jonathan... can you remember what the neck dimensions were?

not sure if i'll go for it or not (there's a nice 80's tokai on ebay which i may go for instead if it stays cheap enough), but it does seem like great value. and if the tokai goes for more than i want to pay, or i chicken out, that feline's top of the list, basically. :)

Thanks Dave-got a few irons in the fire and I may yet  be ok but it is a trying time but I am sure it'll work out fine as I am an optimist.Actually Mrs 38th heard me drooling and had a quick look and said she might be prepared to lend me some cash.

Yes Steve, good luck in the job stakes.  I'm tempted by the guitar myself, but the exchange rate makes it $1,000 - and it needs BK's too!  I thought it was new because it has the new Feline logo.
So many pickups, so little time

It was the 4 way switch that did it for you wasn't it?

Yes Dave, I have a boring name. 8th would have been great. Mind you, I had a full and frank exchange of views with a Director of my employers today when I protested that I am not a number. But that guitar, yes it looks great and the 4 way would make me go for it.I can't believe that price.  Mind you, I love the Sapele Tabby that Jonathan has for sale on his site-that looks the business!

That's as beautiful a guitar as I've ever seen.

My wife would DEFINITELY miss £500 from the bank.  She watches it like a hawk...

Fingerboard radius is 12" at the nut but gets a bit flatter as I always tend to compound the raius a bit to make string bending easier
