The number of people with INSANE amounts of guitars, amps, pedals, etc. in their household must live in crazy-ass mansions.

Just a random 'You know what..' moment.

It's not Phil. Look as it as rental fees.  That's what I do!

I have been known to use that excuse on many occassions. The guy at my local guitar shop also suggested taking up smoking and then telling my partner I was giving up the habit so I could use the money wasted on cigarettes to pay for a new guitar. I like his logic.

Also forgot to mention that I once had an EHX 2880 Super Looper and Foot controller (and made a profit of £1.00 on the 335 that I sold)
I think I hate being indecisive.

In the days before I bought my beloved ENGL Invader, when I lusted after one so very badly, there was one incident that led me to believe that GAS can act very much like all those bad addictive things you hear about in school, and that when you want something so very badly, but cannot get it, you can turn into a monster of a person, much like someone reacting to withdrawal from a dependancy.

There is a housemate of mine who I don't like very much at all, but I keep it civil for the sake of not arguing every time I see her. Now then, one very fine day, after reading once again about all of the things that an ENGL Invader could do for me, and after listening to sound clips of it and viewing pictures of its oh so pretty blue lightedness, I left my room to make a cup of tea, to find 3 half eaten meals of this house mate of mine's lying around the kitchen, forming mold and a somewhat horrible stench. Now then, I have come to the conclusion that, because of my dire need to get my hands on the amp of choice, and knowing I wouldn't be able to do so for atleast another month, I went out like a rabid dog in search of this girl so as to bite her. To cut a long story substantially shorter, it ended up with her in tears, washing up all of her things, and not speaking to me for the remaining weeks I was in her presence (not that I was complaining) before going home to start dead shifts stacking shelves for stupid hours so as to afford the beast I now love so much.[/i]

Likewise!  I only have a one-bedroom flat, totally packed with guitars and 27 years' worth of guitar magazines.  And I wonder why I'm single.

Plus I have a couple of thousand DVDs, at least as many CDs and vinyl LPs, hundreds of books... and of course my big bundles of newspapers tied up with string.

Just kidding on the last one.  :|
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Ha!  at least i'm not alone! over 800 dvds, similar of cds and a couple hundred lps. (that's Long Players, not Les Pauls. only seven of those   )  no idea how many books, but i have managed to get rid of newspapers!!  my original passion, comics, still takes up a fair bit of space too. and, um, i'm single too

must say though, after my last relationship i'm in no hurry to put myself through that again!  apparently feeling low will fuel your spending, i'm living proof!! hmm, maybe a good woman would save me money.  no, i don't think they've invented a money saving woman!

I'm not telling you where I live!

And anyway I'm just another drone, it's not fair that I should be a victim of the communist revolution.  :(

I live in a row house, and while it is pretty large compared to english houses, isn't a mansion by any means.  I used to live in a 600 sq ft apartment and had cases everywhere with racks on the walls!

Things I've sold/traded through the years:

Guitars:
1967 Strat
1965 Burns Nu Sonic Bass
1973 Les Paul 55 Special
1970's Baldwin/Burns 12 String
1972 Les Paul Custom
1985 Chris Eccleshall 7/8 size solid 335
1980's Ibanez 57 Flying V
1984 John Birch Firebird
1961 Precision Bass
1982 SG Special
1983 Custom R D Curlee Les Paul Double Cutaway - Mahogany Body, insane curly maple neck, 2 DiMarzio HB's
1980's Shergold Bass
1961 White SG/Les Paul Junior
1980's Aria Dragon Strat (top side of body was carved into a dragon)
1980's Antoria Tele Thinline
1968 Melody Maker (SG Junior Style with P-90)
1966 SG Standard
1963 Precision Bass
1984 JayDee Explorer
1962 White SG Junior
1993 Les Paul Custom Plus
1991 Custom Shop Firebird 1
1991 Custom Shop Firebird 7
1972 55 Reissue Les Paul Custom
1964 Epiphone Double Olympic
1989 Rickenbacker Suzanna Hoffs Limted Edition
1994 Guild Brian May Red Special
1990's Japanese Hank Marvin Strat

I probably forgot some in there.

I'll do the amps another day!
So many pickups, so little time
