They look so nice.

This is probably a stupid question but...

Can this finish only be done on nailbombs?

can you get it to have more of the reddish colour in, or is it just random and down to how they burn?

You can have any finish on any pickup!
I'll have a go at getting more red in, I think I know how I can do it.

HEY PEOPLE, I'VE MADE ONE MYSELF!!! :D It's not as lively and colorful like Steve's, but it has different shades of blue and yellow. It has a camo appearance, too, it's full of blue fingerprints! I forgot to clean the cover before heating! I'll make a photo when my camera comes back from the tech.

I've already asked to get this cover on my Cold Sweat.
Steve, do you know if the chrome affects the tone of the pickup used?

Right now I'm really annoyed that my Edwards has Nickel hardware, as I want a set of BKs for it, my LP has Chrome but it already has fairly good PU's, aaargh, need to buy either more guitars or more PUs, or both!?

They do look seriously cool though.

WOW!!!!

The one on the right looks like a fire storm hurricane that would be on the radar of the weather channel.
The one on the left looks like a great pup for a funky psychedelic band.  LETS GO PINK FLOYD.......lol

Wouldn't those look great in a psychedelic painted Hendrix style Flying V?
