The best compliment I ever got about the tone of the guitar was when it was fitted with the Rebel Yells too... A sweet, bright and very clear distorted tone that cutted through the mix like a champ. Single notes literally jumped out of the guitar. The clean tone was just great as well. I don't know why I changed those pickups, but it was one of my first BKP sets, so at the time I always was excited about trying different stuff.
I think the Rebel Yells will be the right fit for my new LPC, especially since it isn't an overly bright sounding guitar to begin with. The Rebel Yell bridge is also the closest to the Gibson 498T specs I believe, so in that case I know it has to be the right choice.
