Someone cure my GAS, I know that problem. Which Edwards model do you play, probably the Jimmy Page model? I've got the 98LTS with Gibson Burstbucker Pro pickups (just a few weeks ago), and I am wondering if I should put some BKPs in it instead.
Generally, I like bands like Led Zeppelin, Guns 'n Roses or Aerosmith. Does anyone have recommendations as to what combination would be suited (bridge and neck position)?
Bare Knuckle pickups got my attention on youtube, some people seem to get an excellent tone even from an Epiphone. My Edwards is definitively better than my old Epi, so BKPs  should give me some nice results?
(I know, this is like asking in a church if I should believe in God or not).

I say Alnico IV Mules all the way. They can do anything. Blues, rock, whatever. The best PAF pickups out there IMO.

Thanks for your quick reply. Many players seem to put a Black Dog into the neck position and a Mule into the bridge, would that make sense?

How would you rate the Stormy Mondays (if you have any experience with them)? They seem to give a great clean tone, and I would be interested if they are suitable for rock as well (I like that classical hardrock sound, I am not really into high distortion metal sounds).

No good. The BlackDog would overpower the Mule. I'd say either Mule/Mule or Mule Bridge/Stormy Monday Neck.

Would the Stormy Mondays be able to handle a rock sound (say, something comparable to Slash's sound)? There clean sound seems to be superb.

Do you have them in both positions?  
The mules you suggested above seem to be pretty sweet as weel. I searched this forum for "sweet child" and found some impressing results, even in Epiphones.

I have the Stormy Monday in the neck position. I wanted something a bit hotter in the bridge so I put a Riff Raff in there, great for AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, classic rock tones.
You could also go with a Mule in the bridge. The Riff Raff has a bit more bite than the Mule.

Great sound and playing fella..the Black Dog sounds excellent in the Edwards :)
