Holy Diver's in Les Paul "The Kids Wanna Rock"
« on: March 17, 2008, 07:49:52 PM »
A short track from my bands demo album. The song is "the kids wanna rock".
The Holy Divers are in my LP STD and sound huge live and recorded. I went for a clasic rock tone for this track but they are really versatile pickups. Hope you like it.

it's kind of like a hybrid of ACDC meets Motley Crew meets manchester indie music. That's a meaty tone as well, I like it! How did you guys record it? Did you go to a studio or was it DIY?

Thanks mate, ac/dc yes, motley crue yes, manchester indie music ?
I recorded the songs on a 16 track digital recorder. Drums are Roland V drums, bass is a hartke rig, guitar sounds are a Vox Tonelab, vocals using a studio condensor microphone.

Thanks for the kind comments guys.
