Although i to am mildy fond of some of nickelback's stuff, i find that after a couple of songs you start having deja vu, not the good kind either. i mean listen to good times gone and rockstar and tell me the bridge isn't EXACTLY the same.
and i have to say, Alter Bridge OWN NB, anyday, although i (unlike phil) prefer there second album, less commercially catchy but lots more metal and lots more EPICNESS!!! (i have a fetish for songs that last 7 minutes or over :D )
But although they do ripp off their own songs alot, i have to admit they still do have quite a few different tracks, unlike some bands i could mention (*cough* *cough* DRAGONFORCE *cough* *cough*) who repeat their best song in, not just some in nickelbacks case, but EVERY SONG IN THEIR BACK CATALOGUE. thats one of many reasons why i don't like dragonforce.
that and their guitars sound like keyboards (curse you dimarzio!)
