Seven String BKPs
« on: March 21, 2008, 09:48:02 PM »
I've just got to share this with somebody:

I've just finished a seven string with a Nail bomb at the bridge and a Cold Sweat  in the neck position; it just sounds amazing. I have to admit to being a little apprehensive about whether the sound of these pickups, which I now know fairly well, would carry over into a seven string format; it obviously does. Thanks Tim.

You can see the guitar at http://www.legraguitars.co.uk/db722.htm

That finish makes me dizzy.

How much was it?
"Would you like some lemon oil?"
"Oh, no thanks, I don't eat fruit."

Indeed that does look good, even for a tele    and its rare that I like the look of a tele.
Love the paint job, reminds me of a bass Nikki Sixx had

Well it's a great pickup combo; highly recommended, they sound fantastic . I think the Kahler trem has quite a bit to do with that as well. There's a very strong mid response that's just not typical of a guitar with this type of construction and a trem and the damn thing just sustains for ever! :)
