I'd say nailbomb, although all the pickups mentioned will most likely provide an awesome thrash sound. Out of my holydiver and nailbomb I can get closer to the megadeth tone with the nailbomb, and i'd imagine it'd work really well in an alder guitar.

isnt nailbomb better for d-tuned riffs etc?

Amp wise i am playing a randall 75w rx series.

Hmm still struggling on a choice tbh...

anyone got any soundclips for megadeth/tallica/anthrax etc

ok so atm i am leaning towards painkiller...tis a little bright bt a few nob turns on the amp wuld sort that out im sure. Although holy diver and nailbomb does sound sweet.

What should i put in the neck tho guys? I realised a few riffs i had been writing have clean intros (kinda erie) and i will need to pull of a few solos so what should i put in the neck. Does bare knuckle make single coils? or should i just stick with another type of pickup (holydiver etc)
