How did this descend into a I hate/love London thread?

Well my vote is London - I have lived elsewhere, it was miserable, and found myself slowing down due to the lack of speed.  I assume that's why people in the country are so slow.

When I go back home, which is another big city, I despair at the apparent inertia of the indiegnous population...

I think most Brazilian people live in North London, I know thats of limited help but a google uk search might narrow down particular areas.

The speed of this place is incredible. I love it, but you do need to get away from it from time to time or it just drives you mad!

So is your friend here Eric? I know a bloke who has rooms to let in north london very near to a railway station for access into the city ect. Lots of work in the area too.

she's in UK since january and she was planning to come back in august, but if she doesn't find another place, she'll probably have to get back now
