yeah although thats what it stands for VOS just means they age the finishes a bit so the appear slightly worn, they look really good close up.

Haha! yeah i'll consider a pair of mules for it eventually, my Dean TC needs them in aswell as ive recently sold of the miracle man that was in that so that will come first as the les paul already sounds amazing so im happy with it for the moment while my bank balance recovers! but i can only imagine a set of mules will make it sound even better so at some point they will go in!

got my LP STD from Coda, still very happy with it.

The Earvana nut Jonathan fitted to mine made a hude difference to how sweet the chords sounded lower down the neck. Highly recommend.

got a Rebel Yell bridge and Cold Sweat neck in mine.

Here's a picture of my 58 VOS in iced tea.

I agree that the stock pickups do sound very good but  I still replaced them with Mules and there was a noticable improvement in clarity.  Then curiosity got the better of me and I replaced those with a set of PG Blues.

I'll put up some clips when I finally figure out how to put my guitar through my computer!

Heres a few more pics in a better light, still with my phone camera but shows the finish off a little bit better, still the pics dont show off the grain and the colours arent as drastic in person but at least the pics are getting better! one day i'll actually have time to take a proper picture

wow! they are all stunning! congrats on the collection! i tried a few R9's just for fun but i think i prefer the R8 neck, which is lucky as the R9's are a hell of a lot more! im surprised because i didn't think i was suited to that big a neck but once i started playing on them i couldnt put them down, if anything fast runs feel more comfortable and smoother on my r8 neck than any "shred machine" ive played. i've never had a neck feel so nice to play!
