Nice tone, I liked the band, good use of rhythm, but lose the singer (sorry did I actually use the word "singer" ?).
Surely "shouty" stuff only really works if interspersed with sung tunes (like Linkin Park for example) .
I know I'm an old fart but is there really a market for continual shouting like that. Sorry to be such a critical moaner, but the rest of the band seems to have a real lot going for it.  :?

haha!

Fair do if you don't like the singing, if you can call it that

It's the stuff we're going for though, and like.

Paint It Black, Deny Everything style hardcore. I don't know if you can call it a 'market', but there are lots of bands i like that do it. Linkin Park are very far off the mark.

Check them out, you might see what i mean

But at the end of the day, i don't expect a general music forum to like my band as i know it's not everyones cuppa tea. I just posted it for clips of the mod 50/ceramic warpig
SG-X/Over wound Rebel Yell
Blue SG 61 Reissue/Cold Sweat
Egnater Mod 50
Matamp 4x12

Aww bless.

Hamfist, have you heard of Gallows? That's probably about as mainstream as shouty singing gets I would say.

I can't make my mind up about the vocals (vocals is a good word to use when you don't want to call it singing by the way 8) ). I sort of like them, sort of hate them.

Anyway, as everyone else said, great sound! I like the songs overall. :)

I remember the band Gallows were before, well, Gallows. My Dad Joe! What an awful, awful pop punk band.

Yeah, it's hard stuff to get into if you not already kinda into it though.

Glad you like the guitar sound anyway :D

Don't get me wrong I do like a bit of shouting, it can provide a lot of energy in a song. I just like a bit of singing inbetween. Provides a superb contrast to the shouting.
I even own some music with a bit of shouting in I think - by a band called Emery if i remember correctly.

Not sure my comments have anything to do with BKP's though !

Emery- I shall look them up. I know what you mean though- Linkin Park as you said was a good example of a mix of shouting/singing.

Anyway, yes, back on topic. The sound is good. :D

This comes from someone who hates punk: I'd take your band over any of that New Kids on the Block "let's play powerchords" wannabe poser bands anyday.  :)

The guitar tone is very tasty! Great band and tune too. Yes they are shouty vocals but on a scale of shouting and grunting this is still listenable and fits the song well. There's a lot worse vocally out there, like Cannibal Corpse for instance! They're not my cuppa tea but my old Mum loves em!!

Good luck with your band, you should blow a few roofs off with a sound like that!

The vocalist was awesome and perfect for that genre of music. :/ I think you're showing your age there mate no offence :)
