Our Warpigs set arrived on Friday, ceramic bridge and AV neck. Been put into the Ibanez s2170fw.
I'm not going to go on at length as it's been said many times. These pups are awsome, fantastic tight base response in the bridge with some nice clear highs to cut through.
The neck also has huge base, not as tight as the bridge, but not really muddy either. Gives a surprisingly good sound played clean (no disrespect intended, I was just surprised at how good the tone was from an extreme pup).
These things really go with a little gain, and give great rock / metal tones without sounding like they are being pushed to do it, it sounds huge but in control.
I have to admit these were purchsed more or less just to find out what the fuss is about, but I'm glad I did :)
Pics at a later stage when we have a matching camo single coil, it looks a bit odd with the chrome piledriver at the moment.
