I just bought me a couple new pedals!

I am pretty excited as earlier on today (technically yesterday). I bought a Keeley Compressor and also a Keeley Katana Boost and man are they good! just incredible, the I also got the pedaltrain 2 so will be posting some new pics very soon.

I am particularly loving the Katana Boost, as it makes your amp go into heavenly overdive!

I was initially looking at getting the Java Boost but I didn't like it much compared to the Katana once i heard it in the shop, as I realised what is the purpose of a booster? To make the same sound louder! anyhow if you are looking for a gorgeous sounding clean booster then the Katana is perfect, I really recommend it to guitarists and bassists.

I am interested to see what you make of the compressor in the long run. I have the same unit and it works magic with my pod but I find it totally redundant when playing live.

I found it's usefull for certain things, like when you need a solo to have more sustain and to be slightly softer than normal. I haven't used it at an actual gig yet but I found that it really improved solo's when I last had a band rehersal, it was as loud as a gig. It is hard to describe what it even does that's how stange it is!
