I'm pretty happy with my rig as it is; when I have the money I'm going to BKP my S470 and then I should be happy...or at least relatively risk-free.

I'm another one of those people who sits around looking at gear a lot and never really buying much of it unless I can justify it to myself...apart from the BKPs which I will have; they're more of an indulgence than need but I don't care.

More to the point the amount of gear I can actually afford most of the time is at a square nothing.
I have no signature...

The last year or so's been a nightmare. Since January 2007 this has been my 'throughput':

PRS: 2 in, 1 out
Carvin: 2 in 2 out (3rd out pending payment)
Schecter: 1 in 1 out
Jackson: 2 out
Ibanez: 1 bass in.
Acoustics: 1 in 1 out
Diezel: 1 in (Mesa is currently for sale)
Blackmachine: 1 in (pending, part paid for!)
Plus some pedals & other stuff

Not been gigging for a couple of years so have had very itchy fingers. I hadn't been using the USA Jacksons & Carvin 7 that I had so I got rid of them. I replaced them with Carvins - fixed bridge backups to my B2 - and now they're out the door too. This is all due to usage change - first from trem to fixed bridge, and more recently to 7 string so the incoming Schecter is a 7. The bass is on loan...

The PRSi were a bit random. I got the first one cheap for what it was on the spur of the moment, liked it but it didn't fit my day to day style. The one I have now is a keeper and fulfils PRS and 6 string GAS. (leaves a B2, PRS CuRo, and an old Jackson Professional)

The B7 will sort me out for 7 string GAS, although a cheap Ibby 7 on ebay may be a future purchase if gigging takes off.

As I said, bad year. As for BKPs... I'll have them in the B7, I will sort out my PRS with them, and eventually one wil go in the bridge of my Jackson but that isn't high on my list of things to do.

EDIT: As a note if it doesn't get played I've been getting rid of it. I used to hoard a bit but I've got over that! I've not lost much, if any, on any sale apart from one of the Jacksons which I bought new. I tend to buy used.

EDIT 2: I've got an OK paying job and am still skint! Quitting booze for medical reasons hasn't helped with the GASflow...
A-Pig 7s, Miracle Man & Mule, Cold Sweats... Expensive kit and no talent posse.

i tend to get a new guitar now and then. i got an acoustic after not owning a guitar for a few years. then i got an OLP MM1 cheap electric cos i dont find acoustics hold my attention. then after getting back in the swing of playing again, i decided id get an american strat cos ive wanted one since i was a teen. been happy with that for ages, but i recently set my sights on a prs se singlecut. that will be it for a while.... after i get me some bk pups. gotta hear these things.

I could possibly be getting the RG08LTD today. Let's hope so. That's my GAS settled for a month or two. :D
