just a 2.2, but I'm well happy- I don't manage well in exams usually and I had a few teaching modules pull me down. Recon it woulda been a high 2.1 if I never fecked up a school placement (i done a chemistry/teaching degree)

I can tell I'm getting old as I probably know more teachers than kids.

WELL DONE EVERYONE!

Congrats, Badger - it's great that you've achieved what you set out to! That's always the main thing in life :)

Teaching is by far and away the most difficult, but simultaneously rewarding thing I've been involved in. It's not my job, but I do teaching on the side, and will always be involved in teaching in some form, being in the industry I am. I have nothing but admiration for teachers, because I know how much effort it takes!!

Watch out beardy rocker, I'd have thought... the idea of a classroom of teenagers is utterly terrifying.  Innit.

But heartiest congratulations!  :D

Passed my first year of uni! Got over 60% in all modules (85% in one!) except for one where I got 59% so I guess thatd all round up to equivalent of a 2:1 ish for the first year?

Yep. A good 2.1 is between 60-70%. Keep it up! first year is a doddle usually...

^ yeah, i know some courses don't even count the first year's results, as long as you pass them that's all that matters (which is extremely handy for those modules where you get a choice and which aren't related to your subject degree)...
