yeah i did. edexcel right? i found it quite easy. it was tight though i had seconds to spare. got music and physics tomorrow. ahhh.

Yeah, I found both of them fine.

M1 was the hardest M1 paper I've seen, but I had no problems.

M2 had one question which got me untill the last 20 mins when I worked out my mistake and finished it up nicely =)

Also got NEBOSH (National Examination Board of Occupational Safety and Health) to do over the next few months and that's a right pain in the arse (something hhcave enjoys by the sound of it).

I like the idea of having "NEBOSH" after my name.  It sounds like a secret international espionage organisation... or maybe something out of H P Lovecraft.

Anyone listen to the radio this morning?

Thanks to the thicko's who decided to post the copyright status on the back of the exam paper I now have to possible re-take my exam.

Basically you have to listen to various pieces of music and comment upon, and in such questions it says name a possible composer.(eg Baroque would be Bach or Vivaldi etc..).

However the copyright on the back says who the music was composed by on the music we had to listen to.

Thanks AQA

Freaky. I've just finished me NEBOSH. It is indeed a proper pain in the hoop.

Ha ha, don't get to put it after the name unfortunately, but as headtheball said, it's a right pain in the hoop.

As soon as I fill out a couple of forms, pay a bit of money and do the competance interview, I'm going to have "BEng(Hons) CEng MIMechE" after my name and "Eur Ing" infront of it  PDT_023 . Although I'll probably drop the BEng bit..... and I'm sure there's one I'm missing out.

headtheball - what do you do then, something involving building sites by any chance?
Advice worth what you just paid for it.

Laboratory work.

The NEBOSH got handed to me along with health and Safety detail. A bit excessive but a cert worth having, as such.

yeah, but seriously.. how bad can philosphy exams really go!!!

one thing i am really not happy about with the current system is how some of my psychology students had to do 3 psychology exams in a row.... how the F*** do you revise for 3 exams at once.... surely it would be ok to spread them out a bit ... exam season lasts long enough to have a single 1 hour psychology paper each week.... why squeeze the buggers together so much????

VERY bad.

Philosophy is NOT an easy subject by any stretch of the imagination.

And this is coming from a Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics student.

And with us it was the same, 3 philosophy essays back to back, each completey different in content, and revision.

I have three different subjects, in the space of four days next week, Economics, Biology, Maths, Economics again.

Then my last day is Economics Biology Biology all in one day. Life's tough. :(

Could be worse, though.

Ye could live with a Maths teacher, and have to recall all that gubbins after years of mental atrophy to help her out of an evening...

I will say to everyone doing GCSEs now, make sure you revise. I got lucky and got good grades but it could so easily have gone the other way. I just started doing some temporary work at a factory (uni student doing work over summer) and I'm so glad I have qualifications that'll get me into a good career after uni. I cant imagine having to do this cr@p for the forseeable future. Luckily I'm only there for 2 weeks but it seems bad enough doing that  Mind-numbingly boring and having Radio 1 on in the background all day is enough to drive anyone crazy. It's definitely giving me motivation to do well at uni thats for sure :D
