I thought id test something out

I have a spare dimarzio Tone Zone kicking about, (it always sounded ok in my Ibanez SZ...) so i thought id put it in my SG to test how it sounds.. it being a mid output pickup... and it just didnt work.. I did tweek a sound i liked from it with my amp, but then it made the other pickups just sound absolutely thin and terrible!!

well tim was dead right, mid output pickups just dont work.. well this one didnt anyway.

This should be in the off topic forum, not related to BKPs.

Though I tried a Tone Zone in my SG before i sold both, sounded great, a big improvement over the stock pickups.
