Here is an old Lion model that I made 6 years ago and was reviewed in Guitar Buyer Magazine.

Well I just got her back this weekend!
Remember it was made before BKP existed - hence the Duncan pickups
I will be updating her in the coming weeks with BKPs, the more refined logos we use now and an Earvana nut too.

These are some shots of mine, the top picture shows my standard with Riff Raff/Stormy Monday (on it's side), 53 conversion with Black Dogs and 86 Darkback Goldtop with PG Blues.

In the other shot you can see my 54 goldtop, sadly I sold the 55 custom reissue, 1960 LP Special, Junior with Pig 90, 71 54 reissue, and 59 junior as well as the other 3.
So many pickups, so little time

Yep - Mules will be my first choice and change the capacitors to Vitamin Q ones too.
Although very tempted to put Riff Raffs in!

Personally I think the finish is spot on. One of the prettiest tops I've ever seen. Yes, prettier than Nolly's blackmachine, and the purple Lion.

Why not compromise with my favourite pickup set - A5/A4 mules ;)

Red + no pickguard + open coil pups =  :good:

I don't have a camera at the moment but I'll see if I can borrow one soon to show my sparsely modified LP studio.
