Did anyone actually buy one of the HB cabs ?  If so, how did it turn out ?

On paper, that 2x12 with the V30's does look tempting.

Harley Benton seems to be a budget "Thomann's own" company who probably manufacture the bulk of their ware in the far east, whereas Framus are a boutique hand-built German company.
I don't care which sounds better; I'd get the Framus every time

I actually ended up getting the framus one, It's a very solid cab. Its a very nice defined sounding cab, not as much bass as I had hoped for, as it is a little smaller than the marshall 1936 and orange cabs but the mids and treble are alot more defined and warmer than the marshall. The Orange cab does sound a little better a bit more bass and slightly warmer again but possibly not worth the £200+ extra in my opinion.

I ended up swapping one of the vintage 30's for a g12k-100 to give a bit more low end to balance out the vintage 30 (i'm not the biggest vintage 30 fan but in the framus I actually quite liked them) And It is near perfect for what I need at the minute. To sum up If your looking for a 2x12 and dont want to spend ~£400 get the Framus, you cant go wrong.
