I am thiiiiiis close to ordering a white flying v Whats the worst that could happen?

I know what you mean fella. What's stopping me is that a) I know it will be something else next week and b) our lass has promised to "have my knackers if i spend any more money on guitar stuff"

Still I can really see myself playing one of those V's

speaking of bargin Vs... look at this beauty:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Edwards-by-ESP-E-FV-100STD-Flame-Flying-V-Rare-Mint_W0QQitemZ110264371116QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item110264371116&_trkparms=72%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C65%3A12&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Is it just me or does that look too wide in the body at the neck end?
Maybe it's the effect of the binding......

I think that's probably my dodgy photography, not getting the angles quite right.

I'm looking at some pictures of a '58 V now (not having a real one to hand at the moment   ) and the distances from the neck pickup ring to the upper corners of the body look identical to me.

But you're right, I think the binding creates a bit of an optical illusion.

No - I love the 58 V when all the dimensions are correct
Just that one looked odd in the photo!

Teh Uggs?- what do those thermal granny boots have to do with flying Vs (very confused here .....or maybe showing that I am over 40)

It's like £40 with delivery- what's the worst that could happen? Stick some mighty BKPs in it and it might be playable, if you're not a fussy, spoiled by goooood guitars kinda person like myself.

Oh man, GAS Attack, I regret selling my Gibby a while ago, even if the fretboard was a little too wide, it was great for on stage.

I saw one of those Fernandes Steeler's in a shop by me about a month ago and it played like a dream, it was going for £450, if I'd only had the money :(
Laney, Charvel and BKP

Black covered Nailbomb that I want to trade for a Warpig/Riff Raff, PM me
