if you'd told me you mic'd your budda with some sort of obscure boutique delay i'd have believed you.
the axe fx seems to be a great (but expensive) thing. i'm interested in your experiences playing loud at band practises and gigs.
Guess this is gonna take a while, as in order to master this rig live you need:
-MIDI Controller (though I could use the Tonelab SE for this)
-Amplification, either FRFR or amp/cab
I recently played the XTC Model through the Bogner Shiva Poweramp, and the result was really amazing. Plugging back and forth with the Tonelab really revealed the difference, noise, artefacts, latency are really apparent, the Axe with the Shiva in fact sounded like an XTC Classic that I played once in a shop, I am not kidding.
I need some more time and patience with this to really get there ... time really is a maor issue, but I think it's worth investing.
