Hmmm strange, I never had such an issue, never any issue actually, I find it put together very well.

However, as you say 20dB less, that sounds like -10 vs +4dB ... have you set the out on LN in the Global menu? If it is still on AP (Amp) then change it, that gives the level a proper jump ... well but guess you figured that probably out before ...

sure man, i tried that switch indeed. it makes a difference - but in the wrong direction :)

indeed the unit looks solid, and inside also its quite sturdy. weird though when i started to look into this problem i found some other guys who had exactly the same thing.

You mean it had less level in the LN setting? So are you using it with the AP setting now? If so then the issue is there.

Are the others who are having the issue Desktop or SE users?

the amp output is lower than the line output still. however i meant that both outputs are lower by about 20dB from expected. the other users i found are desktop users. i'm attempting to use it with the line input into my desk, but i have to boost so much there is quite a hum.

edit: mmm, well i just got through even if they said before the lines were closed. strange, but at least they'll fix it now :D

Glad to hear it - I'm loving my Tonelab LE, and I've been following your troubles with the desktop with interest. Not had anything particularly useful/helpful to say though, sadly...  :?
