I don't recall seeing that. Is it the issue with John Mayer as the cover photo?

That's the last one. The new one just came through my door this morning and as usual I've read it in an hour and now have to wait another month. Its main feature is "50 years of the Fender Jazzmaster" and some stuff on the Moog guitar.

There's a feature in Frontend about the new Peavey Vypyr amp range which I have a small chance of trying out in work over the next week or so. Fingers crossed I'm in on the right day.

Wahey - will be expecting mine to be on my doorstep when I get home! I always have the same problem in that I read it in the first few hours and then have to wait a whole month! I always read the gear review section first - not sure why though as I often can't afford to buy what they are reviewing.

Not sure about that Moog guitar. Looks really ugly to me.

Ah, my Bible for £5.25!

Does anyone else think it's a MASSIVE rip-off? Guitarist is good, but not THAT good.
Luckily my gf pays for my subscription :P

I think it's pretty expensive but I still buy it as soon as I see it every month.  It is definitely the best magazine, I think they have got the balance right with the interviews / reviews / lessons.  It sometimes seems as if they are reviewing a PRS every month and amps that cost the same as a small hatchback, but we all need to know how far we can take our GAS.

I especially like the long term tests, except for the Baja one that concluded it had too many switches. :(

+1 for SB not doing the reviews!

i used to do that, so i forced myself not to read it all on the first day i bought it. Now the problem i have is that i often don't manage to read the whole issue before the next one comes out...

Simon Bradley is a wimp. He is just not at all rocknroll, and his clips always sound brittle and thin, further he plays like someone who started guitar last spring.

If ever I unsubscribe, he will be the reason.

Well said!! I think he's a bit of a w**ker to be honest. He is a shite guitarist. They should invite guitarists from bands to check out the new gear. At least have someone who can play with a bit of groove instead of the speccy tw@t geek riffs that yuppie comes up with!

As a guitarist I rate myself on a sliding scale between shitee and very shitee. I'm pretty sure I could do a better job than SB though.

Thanks chaps.  Have you noticed it adds another "e" every time you quote the word "shite"?
