Depends what setting you use i guess. They weren't for me, i just thought the Hot 100's had a little more to them.

How did the sound compare when you changed the G12K's out for the Hot 100's?

I played them side by side. The cabs they were in were the same. Just kept switching from one to the other.

The G12 K's sounded a bit flat, muddy in the bass. Messed about with the EQ for a while, just decided they weren't for me. The Hot 100's were similar but a lot 'alive', and the bass wasn't as low, and didn't sound muddy.

But.....

That's just my opinion, i'm sure others will love them
