A few of you have got, or have had these. how did they turn out ?  Do you still have them ?
The speakers would seem to be the weak point - agree or not ?

The cab is excellent, very small and build quality is excellent. The speakers, which are good for cleans and stuff suck when it comes to the heavy stuff, they don't seem to have enough push for it.

I certainly did - which I have replaced with a superb 4x12.  It's just that the 4x12 is too big for playing in church, and is a pain to lug about all the time for band rehearsals etc.

Ideally, I think I want a 1x12, but good 1x12's, especially used ones, seem very hard to come by. There's certainly more 2x12's around, and they seem pretty much as cheap as a 1x12.

The Laney 2x12 cabinet itself seems to be excellent value, and is cheaper than any good 1x12's out there. The speakers, however, may not be up to standard - I'll have to see if there's a dealer around with one in stock that I can try my amp through.

I hope you'll forgive me this small indulgence, but I can't resist quoting myself:
"I hope you don’t regret having a more portable option to the 4x12 available! ;-)"
You know I mean well!  :)

..... weeping over my lost opportunities.

We've all done that        :violin1:

I learnt a good while back; there will always be a 1x12 and a 2x12 in my gear collection.
In place of a 4x12 I've got a Shure, a stand and a 30' xlr cable!
