I'm not normally a fan of quilted maple, but that's one of the best quilts I've seen on a Horizon :) The trans-blue is a great look, too

If the Nailbomb is a bit dark in the bridge and you want something to match it, why not think about a Black Dog? They are on the hotter end of the vintage side and seem to be darker than the Cold Sweat that was previously mentioned. :)

I'll definately consider it. I'm not going to be making my purchase anytime this month, but thanks for the tip.

Keep in mind that the Nailbombs are pretty dark-sounding pickups, even in the bridge position (though less dark than in the neck).
:O mine isn't! I find it quite bright. A definite high-mid peak

Hmmm, that's weird! It might just be a case of my being used to strats and superstrats with things like Dimebuckers and Painkillers in them

I have a Miracle Man paired with a Mule... No problem with the output mismatch there, and the Mule kills the 59 (and I like the 59 as a pickup). I'm another person with a Cold Sweat set in a PRS, fantastic but not as warm as the Mule.

Bridge model or neck model? What's the dc resistance?

Wintersun from this forum had a Mule (7,1k neck model which I own now) paired with his Nailbomb in the bridge and he could not get the output to match.

Don't know the resistance but was bought as a calibrated set.... If this means that the Mule was wound hot then apologies!!  :P

Are you sure it's a Mule? Calibrated sets usually refer to two of the same type...

Ah ok. I'd imagine that if Tim knew they were going as a set, he'd want to up the output of the Mule by one way or another. They'd be very mismatched in output otherwise.
