In about 6 weeks we are going to have our first child and we are struggling for boys names...my wife isn't keen on (for instance) Andrew Christopher David which i think would be well cool, but i may not be taking the responsibility seriously enough! I like the old rule of thumb when naming a child - imagine standing at the front door and you have to yell the kid's name out loud to call them in for tea. If it sounds stupid, then it probably is!!

My sister once had a sordid little affair with a "my wife doesn't understand me" married man called Mike (meeting up in a hotel for a quickie at lunchtime, that kind of thing...).  Never found out his real surname, but we always referred to him as Mr Hunt.

I work in a University which has a large intake of foreign students each year a lot of whom are from the far east. Now the thing is to feel western a lot of Chinese like to take a western first name, each year we get some classics but my favorite two ever were......
