Audio Kitchen Little Chopper. Ever heard of them?

Just got the new issue of Guitarist in the post and there is an amp brand that has slipped under my radar.

There is a review of the "Little Chopper" that looks quite cool.
Angus and Malcolm have been using them according to the website.

Anyone get to see them at the London Guitar Show?

By way of a comparison and shameless plug, I could do a version of my Goldstar (5W or10W, EL84, 6V6 or EL34) and add Power Scaling and a variable tonestack defeat, valve rectifier if required, for about £700.  8)
I could even do the posh hard wood cab if required.

And what is a variable tonestack defeat?

I still want to work with you to modify a version of the  Goldstar into a 10W rock monster that will do Van Halen, Lynch, AC/DC, Whitesnake (old and new), and with it being single ended you can just change out the power tube to get a wide range of tonalities within that design. Power scaling sounds good as well though!

I have some old USA made Sylvania 6CA7 beam tetrodes that I could use in it for the Van Halen vibe (that's what he always had in his amp)

I bought some PCBs from Audio Kitchen about 6 or 8 months ago, and was very impressed with the quality of them, so i'd imagine the quality would transfer over to the amp.

And what is a variable tonestack defeat?

I just mentioned that because it's one of the features on the Little Chopper. I'd probably make it an on/off switch. Tone stacks can be lossy, and if the amp is fairly neutral anyway, the user might prefer to switch it out, and have more drive and a purer signal, with the option of a top cut if necessary.
Other than that, it's got Gain, Master Volume, Treble/Middle/Bass, it's single ended, with 1 x ECC83 and 1 x output valve of choice. Even a valve rectifier if desired. Power Scaling too.

Best way to proceed would be to write me out a specification in as much detail as possible. As long as i think it's achievable, I'll give you a price, then you pay a deposit and I'll build it. We can then tweak it to your taste. Easy.

Does that mean there is an EL84 version at 5W, and a different version with 6v6 (5W?) and EL34 10W?
Or like the first Lady is there a switchable power valve?

Can the EL34 be swapped for other valves as it's single ended, eg 6L6 for a more fender vibe?

Yes, the amp can be ordered either at 5W with either an EL84 or 6V6, or in 10W Octal spec which can employ the EL34, 6L6, 6CA7, KT77 or other compatible octals.
It's not switchable like the First Lady.
