I used to ue it all the time until I sold my POD. It is a pretty quick and convenient way of capturing ideas for rifs/songs. I used it as a kind of notebook and found it useful. Only problem was that I built up riffs so quickly that I never had time to put them into songs although I did get around to saving them in files for each key.
In my opinion it is a pretty good purchase.
