MiracleMan BigHair Tone
« on: September 07, 2008, 10:10:22 AM »
This is a MiracleMan bridge in an Edwards LP Custom.

AxeFX => Carvin DCM100 => Bogner 4x12 => SM57

The rhythm and lead tracks were played with the same amp tone, but I kicked in a TubeDrive (model of Chandler TubeDriver) and a Delay for the lead part (edit: I forgot to mention the Wah that kicks in later, these are 2 wah models in the Axe "wired" in parallel and controlled with a Moog Expression pedal).

Could have dialed in more presence but I liked the darkness yet crunchiness of the tone as it was.

Super-smashing tone and playing!

I liked a lot.

this has to be the nicest rhythm tone I've heard in a long while. Can you tell me what your amp settings were on this?

I enjoyed that Hunter.  :)

What a lovely thick and yet articulate tone !  Also the demo was  nicely 'uncluttered' - so we could hear the M.M. pickups distinctly . I don't play heavy stuff on my own gear, but I do enjoy listening  to a bit of B.L.S.  As such, the Miracle Man has long since intrigued me. Thanks for the clear confirmation of how good they would sound in my own axes !

Lovely thick tone H! That AxeFx is one hell of a bit of gear!
