I wasn't expecting to post in this thread, but I saw it in the flesh today - the pics don't do it complete justice, it is
very gorgeous. I wasn't sure about the birdseye in the pics, I'm not too fond of them in general, but in real life on this one they're "right".
When I first saw the thread it kinda passed me by, "oh a green one..." (!) So much so that when Jonathan handed it to me (to see if I liked the feel of the fretwire while establishing my preferences for a refret) I didn't make the connection at first
I was determined not to get too interested, and to keep to the job in hand, and it's possibly a bit light for me anyway, so my wallet was safe  But now I've handled a Feline, and the experience has sunk in, I can really see what the fuss is about. And that all access neck joint is
really comfortable folks. I don't usually play up there, but it is so comfy that I can imagine my left hand resting around the joint while I'm not playing, just because it feels so good.
"Trying some frets" might have sown a few seeds...
Anyway Philly, seeing the tone of your your posts earlier in this thread, if you're seriously looking at "gas-reduction"...
DO NOT GO TO CROYDON AT THE MOMENT!!
