Wow, I've not posted in a while. So hi again everyone.
Right then, questions about pickups on a couple of guitars...
First. My Mockingbird NJ Classic (That's a maple through-neck bird with nato wings, ebony board & a TOM bridge). I've got a Cold Sweat in the bridge of that & it sounds really nice. Especially with the right combination of drive for a pedal & amp. I'm thinking about finally getting a BKP in the neck. I guess the obvious answer is to put a CS in the neck too. Any other suggestions?
Secondly. I'm thinking about upgrading the bridge (possibly neck too) of another Mockingbird. This one is an NJ with a bolt on neck & a floyd bridge. (I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's a nato body, maple neck & ebony board). I had been using this guitar as a back-up at gigs, but our singer has taken to using it as her main at gigs (bloody women). So I'm looking for something that'll compliment the CS in mine, but at the same time giving me something a little different for when I get to play on it. With all the BKP range being mint it's hard to choose. Perhaps a MM, NB or WP?
Cheers guys,
Simon :D
