I won't repeat my Prophecy mini-review on another thread, but ever since Winter NAMM I did want one, and I did get one. Dirty Fingers are my favorite pups hands down, and all the other features I need are there. If they'd make one with a locking trem, I'd buy that too, but that's rather futuristic for a backward lot like Gibby/Epi. The prophecy series alone is a giant leap for Gibson-kind.

With regards to the matter of comparing it to a USA Gibson, probably not quite as good, but to be fair it's comparable. If they'd make a USA Gibson with this set of features, I'd pick it up in a heartbeat, but the gang in Nashville probably look down their noses at shredders like me with our fast necks and 24 frets. I know that's why they wouldn't sign Mustaine, because he had the nerve to ask for an axe with 24 frets and a floyd.

Anyway, I love mine, so feel free to ask whatever I like, although mine isn't an Explorer. And it sure as hell is not an SG.

Oh JSHRED!
Who said Gibson doesn't care about shredders.

For that low price, Gibson will meet you in the middle!(only 22 frets and burstbuckers :(, but you do get your locking nut and Floyd Rose!)Woohoo!
