My Pig 90 is 21k I think and I'm sure it'd be right at home in an SG :)

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure WPigs would sound HUGE* but I'm playing through a vintage style amp and am after something not as powerful.

Yeah, fine, but what sound do you want? Theres a lot of difference between them. And once you get to the nailbombs output, theyre all suitable for all-mahogany.

I heard Nailbombs weren't that suitable for SGs. I was after something high output but not over the top, if that makes any sense!

I'd be interested to know why not Cold Sweats, Sue has them in her SG and they sound great.
I have Nailbombs in a LP and they work well in that but I couldn't predict how they'd work in an SG. I think they'd give you plenty of cut through in a mix, not really a vintage sound if that is what you are after though.
As always, talk to Tim!

+1 to Cold Sweats. High output, not over the top, good for modern and vintage stuff. It's a great pickup.

Cold Sweats sound good but I was wanting to go with an alnico bridge.

then ask tim for an alnico version of it
alnico 5 for paf style, probably mid scooped response, tight bass
alnico 2 for a mellow middy tone, but looser and smoother, with less bass
alnico 8 for thick mids and low end, but rounded highs

PAFs were/are AIV.
If youre gonna go round swapping magnets, check with tim whether it will work well with that wind.
