Sorry to ear that. :(
I hope mine does not get bumped in by a car or shot by my neighbour (silly old man that want and needs issues through whole neighbourhood, maybe he just needs company of a cat :p).
I was much more into dogs at time but I just can't see myself having one. I'm finding them too boring as cats are funny as hell, jumping everywhere and playing hours with just some easy stuff. If I'm tossing a lil corner of a sheet of paper mine jumps around et moves it with crazy moves.
Only thing I hate to do is the vaccination. I have to maintain him on that table till this stupid (excuse me but he is) doctor comes with his needles. Each time he needs to inject it twice but he never prepares both needles. I had to keep my cat for 10 mins on that table with my hand on the neck until that guy comes back with the 'holy' needle.
Then the doctor told me to let go, as the cat would naturally go back in his box. He touched gently his head and all of sudden my lil tiger wrapped around his arm and bit his hand....I just thought of that as I have to take him to the pet doctor next week.
