i require some advice, please..
« on: November 07, 2008, 06:46:36 PM »
okay, so here's the thing..
i've been playing for a long time now, and i feel i need to stray away from my devout use of EMGs..
don't get me wrong, they've served me well..  i just think it's time for a change..
i forget where i heard about BareKunckles, but everything i have heard has been extremely positive..
i have a deep love for the tunes of Blind Melon, Collective Soul, and Alice in Chains..
but the love of my life is thrash, Dave Mustaine being a huge part of my life, as well as Kirk Hammett..
i mostly play thrash, and just run-of-the-mill heavy metal..  occasionally i do like to venture into things such as The Fall of Troy, but the mainstay of my music will always be similar to Megadeth, Metallica, and the like..
perchance, could someone give me some insight into which particular pickups would serve me best?

my thanks in advance.
Thom
but now i'm safe in the eye of the tornado..

the new pickups will be going on a PRS CE 24, and i play a MESA/Boogie triple rectifier..

miracle man, you say?
i shall have a look at them..

i don't know if this makes any difference, but i like to use sweeps (even though i'm not great at them yet)..
