Real or Fake, Bushy or Trimmed?
« on: November 08, 2008, 09:06:37 PM »
Personally I prefer my Christmas trees real and bushy.
I think I hate being indecisive.

Yes, I'm certainly not a fan of a fake Christmas tree, although IMHO a bit of careful trimming can also do wonders to tidy up an unruly, bushy specimen.

I prefer the bush.

Fake ones just don't smell right.

If I can temporarily un-sully this thread, and drag it out of the gutter...

<unsmut>

I like FAKE.  Because it's a ritual now that I assemble it with my children.  And that's fun.

It's my position in life, Mr Kellar.  I take it very, very seriously.

I gotta go with fake as we've had a ritual of getting it up for years

We use fake, but only for cheapness and ease. I have no problems with real ones.

What I cannot understand is this new trend for upside down fake trees. For anyone who hasn't seen one yet, their point is at the bottom, and they spread out to being wide at the top, exactly like an upside down normal tree ...... WHY !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess it's a bit like using a harness or something...

I've got a feeling it might be one of those things where it's not called "Brazilian" in Brazil? :lol:

But to answer the other meaning of this thread - fake all the way for me. No needles all over the carpet, no damaged guitar fingers collecting it, no creepy-crawleys, the thing looks the same shape every year, etc, etc...

OK, it don't smell like a fir tree, but so what? :D
