How do I post a for sale list?
« on: November 10, 2008, 09:24:47 AM »
I've looked at the section but can't see how I can even start a thread? Any help in telling me how to list would be appreciated. All the best.

Edit. Removed items I am going to sell from this post due to the reply underneath! Hopefully not many read it, didn't mean to break the rules.

You have to have more posts. Its to stop people that arent at least moderately established members using the boards as ebay.

Ok, many thanks... I have edited my original post and removed the items for sale, thanks for the info. Sorry if it caused any offence or looked a bit dubious... I am fairly new to this forum and although I do read through the sections and info, unfortunately NOT a BKP user yet. Infact I'm going to call Tim later today as I was hoping to see a stand at the Guitar show at the NEC weekend gone... alas no stand. All the best.

Dont fret it, honest mistake. All puns are intended.

I think the post count required is 100. I tell you this now, not before, because youre courteous reply and edit of your OP means you dont strike me as a spammer.

Welcome, stick around, enjoy the boards. You dont need to have BKs to get a lot out of this place, or put back in. (though obviously you will relent eventually!)

Cool many thanks. I have indeed just got off the phone to Tim, apologised for my ways and discussed my pick up requirement for my L.P. As it's all Mahogany, I'm going to go with Tim's recommendation of Riff Raff's once I get the guitar back from being re-finished!! Can't wait. Thanks again for the welcome. All the best.

I never noticed that there was a requirement to post for sale ads.. I guess I have terminal GAS..  I check the FS section every time I log in and wish I had the money to buy new things but never even crossed my mind to sell some of my stuff.

Not sure about a min required posts, but I do know that you have to apply to one of the admins for permission to post, again its a formality just to stop spam. Frankly if you ask nicely I suspect you'll be allowed to post.

hmm, I have more than 100 but still can't seem to make new topics in the trade forum,
not that I have anything to sell. :p
