I've had that McCarty about six months or so, and until recently it was played for an average of a couple of hours a day.  Not a huge amount, but it was enough to alter the tone a bit.  I've found that most guitars play-in a bit, not just acoustics.

Now wait a sec, you have like 27 guitars and this was the worse of the 2 Korinas and it still got played a few hours each day?
How much do you play on an average day Dave?

I play on average a couple of hours I guess.  That was my main guitar for a few months so it got a lot of use.  I think it may well be used a lot more again now!

And it's only 21 guitars now  ;)

Am I right in thinking you have VH11s in a PRS Dave? If so, how does the CS set compare to VH11s?

I've got VHIIs in a Jackson Dinky.  The guitars are quite different, so it's hard to compare them that well.  The VHIIs seem more open and clear, more single coil like if you will.  I believe that's down to the large offset between the coils (one is much more powerful than the other).  It's like a big single coil sound, but it takes gain really well.  I like both them and the CSs for different reasons  :)
