Vigier.....Long Leg or Short Leg? replacing EMGs
« on: December 13, 2008, 08:48:54 PM »
I'm just about to replace the EMG's in my guitar for some BKPs, however i am unsure whether i need long or short legged humbuckers in my guitar.

The guitar is a Vigier Excalibur Ultra which has direct mounted EMGs, Tim suggested the short leg option, although i had read in one post ages ago that EMGs would need to be replaced with the long leg pups.

Can anyone shed any light on the matter? :wallbash:

go with what Tim tells you. It is not something that affects the tone anyway so to you as a player it will have no impact at all. I recently got my first BKP set and I replaced EMG. Long leg worked just fine for me but mine are not direct mounted.
