The thickness of the wood from the top to the control cavity is big, so needs the potentiometers that Warmoth sell and the 4 way switch will need a little enlargment on the hole, the edges were bloking the switch to make full contact on one side of switch...
I had the same problem when I put a 4-way on my Thinline, I had to make the slot in the scratchplate longer. The switch seems to have more "travel" than a normal 3-way or 5-way. Presumably it's not an issue with the normal Tele control plate, because it's thinner.
Yes, did it today, about 1mm for each side or a little more in the "bridge position" side...
It's working fine now, but the switch knob wasn't on place and it looks a little like "working on edge" perhap will have to put the strat type...
