Why isn't he playing the guitar anymore? I thought he was quite good when I saw the Darkness, better (for my tastes) than that ugly widdly-widdly bloke in the video anyway

+1, I always thought he was a pretty good lead player- and for stuff that gets into the charts these days, verging on virtuosic!

Not bad but I'm really bored of bands trying to bring this sort of rock back. It just wont happen and they all end up sounding really dull.

Justins voice gets really annoying as well.

Ohhhhh man That guitar sound is to die for, and fair do's on that solo too, awesome!

Gotta say I like the new look too. Liked the Darkness but I always thought the catsuits were taking it a bit too far, love the Hanoi Rocks / Early G'n'R / Skid Row thing they've got going on at the mo.

Only thing that could improve this song I think are his lyrics. Apart from that it was quite an enjoyable little video!  :)

haha, i'm the opposite, i wish it would come back. only problem is, when they bring anything back, it normally isn't as good as it was originally... :(

+1, avoided this thread for a bit because of that. He looks $%&#ed, can't say I like the song either, more funky than pure rock

I'm planning on going to see Hot Leg next year in Manchester  :)

I'm thinking of doing that as well.
The Darkness had some great early gigs.

Only just seen this thread.

The song's OK, but I can't helping thinking there's something phoney about them.  They don't look like Hanoi/Faster Pussycat/early Gn'R, they look more like Armstrong & Miller as "Strijka".

What's going on with the hairbands, are they to hold their wigs on?  :?

BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds

I am sad that I missed them supporting Extreme last month . Especially as Justin and Gary did a Queen medley (so I heard) to mark the anniversary of Freddie's death.

one of the bars we were drinking in had a bit of freddie mercury memorobilia on the wall, and conincidentally were playing a bit of "the darkness", and now i read this thread, what a conincidence!

saw hot leg when the supported Alter Bridge recently.

I have never heard a more hostile crowd, I felt pretty bad for them but in all honesty I couldn't wait for them to finish.

it appears that Justin actually plays all the guitar on the song. seemingly he recorded the whole album himself then put the band together to play it live.

That's interesting because when I saw them the other guitarist (who was technically amazing) was playing all of the solos, they looked proper hard to play

I think I saw an interview on youtube which says the new set-up is that Justin plays the start of each solo and then the other guy finishes it off with a bit of shred.
