My bro got me the 'Song Remains The Same' DVD

Havent seen that for ages, gonna have to dig it out again at some point. The little "acted" bits between songs get annoying though, because they're so shite :lol:

yeah, it goes without saying they were going for a really arthouse production... and i agree it doesn't come off alot of the time - you're waiting for more music. luckily the awesome concert footage and great audio makes up for it.

the whole over-blown grandoise nature of the thing is totally impressing me. can you imagine what it would have been like if they carried on in to the late 80s? the 70s production makes the pomposity come across in a much more charming way. while 'song remains the same' is an excellent production, its probably just as well punk came along.

It's good that so many of us had a Merry Christmas. I didn't receive any guitar related gifts. However, I did give away an Ibanez AF75D to a under privileged young girl who plays violin and aspires to play guitar. Merry Christmas!

I got a new watch and a christmas jumper!

I'm going to buy myself the axon mkII midi controller to link up with the ghost midi pickup in my feline lion.  8)
