Looks like the new speakers that I need are out the window  :(

You'll get a new one that speaks really LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUD! (the problem is: there is no "off switch" )

Congratulations!

Have a go at giving up the fags. I've been off them a year now and it's not as hard as some would have you think.

Congratulations!  As others have said, being a dad is the best job in the world.  I became a dad at age 35 (Jan '07) & again in May this year - it totally changes your outlook on life (in a good way).

Although your lady is still in the early stages, the "drop zone" looms up rather fast :)  Make sure you give her all the support you can.  Good luck!

Congratulations!

I've just had my second and I'm well happy.  Now I can retire and live with them for free when I'm older, saves me getting a pension!

One of my selfish worries with the first was that I would not get enough guitar time but I ended up playing loads before and after the birth, I used to even have my amp on quiet any play some soothing music to get her to sleep by her cot which seemed to work for a few months.

No death metal though, that just scares em'
