Id say $750 is a pretty good price; but it depends If its a USA standard. If its a USA special then its an ok price
If its a korean don't bother!
Its a good solid guitar; the neck is the best part as its contoured and oiled. So its very slick, but unforgiving on sloppy technique. The wood is nothing special as per eddies specs, either two piece or three piece basswood - so a very neutral sound that will put more onus on your pickups.
The wiring is good as is the hardware (the bridge on the USA version is good and solid)
However i'd really think about changing the pickups. The neck and bridge have the same output - making the neck really boomy, muddy and actually louder than the bridge.
The bridge pickup is much better - but its still got a really high output (strange considering its EVH) and was a little harsh on my ears.
I really like the look of them (i have 2 myself) and they are really comfortable - being quite a small compact guitar
Overall its a very good guitar - but i wouldnt say its the holy grail :)
