Well, I suppose my "best" guitar is this one:

But my favourites are these three, which cost less in total than the PRS on its own:

#1, in the sense that it's the one I feel most attached to, is the green SG.  There's nothing special about it, it doesn't sound all that amazing, it just feels right.

BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

I'm probably torn between these two

They are certainly the ones I play most
The Charvel now has a Duncan Blackout instead of the EMG
I have had it in one form or another since 1986 - body got upgraded and a new trem fitted

The Lion has Mules and I love them

just got it today, but will forever be my favorite. (can't wait to actually play it! ) reason why it is special is quite obvious.

Gonna have my new custom Les Paul at home for photos soon will post. Feline it is so not fair you just build your own guitars. That is actually something I really want to get into. Guy with Mocking Bird splendid looking instrument. Tokai Sg too. Good stuff here

Really cr@ppy picture, sorry, colour looks horrid... but the missus hasn't used her Christmas pressie to take a better picture of it yet!

This is Edith, Fender Japan 62 Re-issue with ITs in it. One of my teles is jostling for "most played" slot at the moment, but Edith is #1.

She's gorgeous, takes a bit of effort, but really rewards you when you treat her right.

Had her almost two years now, pressie from the missus (which probably adds to the "specialness"). Edith is what started off my BKP, and then "new guitars", craze in the last year or so. Prior to this one, I was using Variax guitars at home, and we noticed I was happy with all the tones except the strat ones. I spent hours with the software trying to get closer, then we realised that all I really wanted was a "real" strat again, and my old JV was broken and maybe not worth the effort of fixing (fixed it since)... sob... so the misus took me on a shopping trip and we came back with this :D

The SG, it has sentimental value since my grandpa (who has since passed away) helped me pick it and buy it.
I tried to buy a second SG, naive going to a store and trying others, but they didn't play as nicely as this one. Even the salesman in the store where I bought was surprised when he demonstrated it a bit.
I really wanted one of those George Lynch baritones, but they only seemed to be available for about 9 months :(

You must have an absolute #1.  One that stands out just that bit more than the others.  You love them all, but there's just something about that one guitar that you can't put your finger on.  It's different, it's got "something"
...
What's yours?
My custom shop Jackson Flying V:

Why?  because it's unique & irreplaceable (literally irreplaceable as since Fender bought Jackson, they no longer offer this body shape even for custom orders).  If my house caught fire & I had the chance to grab something after the children were out, it would be this.

I love this guitar so much - it totally redefined my idea of "perfection" in a guitar & one of my abiding regrets is that I didn't order more like it before Fender came along.

It's one of my few non-BKP'd guitars because I can't quite decide what to put in it & the Duncan Distortion bridge still sounds good (it was my pre-BKP favourite pickup).
BKPs: HD, MM, NB, PK, CS, Ab (b&n); Am (b only); VHII, Tril (n only); IT, Slow, Sult (m&n)

The Charvel has that special flip-flop paint - it goes from sand coloured to purple depending on the angle it's viewed from

Not flash - but despite owning other more expensive guitars - my first guitar - an 1983 JV Squier still has it for me above all others - perfectly played in, apaches pickups work a treat and the slightly midrangy sound of the basswood body gives it a bit more rawk compared to my US and mex strats.
BKPS: Milks, P90s, Apaches, Mississippi Queens, Mules, PG Blues, BG FP 50s, e.60s strat custom set

People really need to STOP posting Feline Lions. I would really like to own the Emerald Lion on the Feline website, but alas I  am broke along with everyone else in the world.

I am not usualy a fan of Les Paul style guitars. But the neck joint and the thinner body option ticks all my boxes, not forgetting the Bareknuckles as standard. Also my good mate Doug from Blackmachine rates the Feline work which is good enough for me.
If everyone on the forum sent me a fiver.....
.... well it was a thought  8)
